A food maker recalls about 500,000 pounds of preparation for food breakfast sandwiches Due to the “waste”, according to the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA).
Hearthside Food Solutions, LLC, based on Salt Lake City, recalls 489,887 pounds of sausage sandwiches and bacon breakfast, announced USDA on Wednesday.
The products were mistaken and contained sesame, which could be fatal for consumers with certain allergies.
Many of the sandwiches were sent to the locations of army and air force exchange services (AAFES) throughout the country.

The following brand products were remembered:
- 8.35-Oz. Cinema -wrapped sandwiches individually of “Lettieri’s Food to Go Saite, Egg & Cheese French Toast Breakfast Sandwich” with lot codes from numbers 23, 24 and 25 to 2508451.
- 7,3-Oz. Cinema -wrapped sandwiches individually of “Lettieri’s food to go bacon, Egg & Cheese French Toast Breakfast Sandwich” with lot codes starting with numbers 23, 24 and 25 up to 2508451.
The USDA inspection brand on the products also contains the number of establishment “East. V4907”.

The memory is related to sesame, but the sandwiches did not contain sesame seeds, but a component of the breakfast sandwiches was made Sesame flour.
“The problem was discovered when the producer establishment notified FSIS that the French toast component of its breakfast sandwiches contained sesame flour, but was not included in the list of ingredients on the breakfast sandwiches label,” said the USDA.

No reports of reactions or adverse injuries were made, but the press release asked consumers to contact a healthcare provider if needed.
