F1 launches 2025: All the cars, liveries, dates and new tracks and lineup ahead of new season | F1 News

As teams announce new car launch plans, keep an eye out for all the key dates to prepare for the 2025 F1 season.

On February 18, F1 announced it would hold its first full-team race with 20 drivers at London’s O2 Arena, casting doubt on whether teams would still hold their usual individual pre-season races.

It wasn’t until Italian team principal Frederic Vasseur confirmed their own launch date of February 19 while speaking at Ferrari’s annual pre-Christmas media day that it became clear that this might be the case for the entire team.

Williams has since made the announcement ahead of F1’s 75th Anniversary special event, suggesting the launch calendar may end up taking on its usual format, with the team conducting events in February.

Here are all the releases confirmed so far.

F1 Special Event: Launches February 18

A special event to mark Formula 1’s 75th anniversary will be held at London’s iconic venue, The O2.

All 20 drivers will be in attendance and interviews with the sport’s key players will be held, as well as live music and entertainment for fans in attendance.

Tickets for the event were reportedly sold out in less than an hour, with fans eager to get a sneak peek at a track that has undergone a lot of changes after years of relative stability.

The team is expected to reveal their new livery on the 2024 car, rather than unveiling their actual new challenger for the 2025 season.

Williams: Published February 14

Williams Racing has confirmed that the FW47 will be launched at Silverstone on Valentine’s Day.

The event could be Carlos Sainz’s first official media appearance as a Williams driver since moving from Ferrari to Williams after being replaced by Lewis Hamilton.

Williams will display the car in a bespoke one-off livery, retaining the display of the 2025 race livery, which will be used by Sainz and Alex Albon at the full team launch on February 18 Pack.

In a statement accompanying the announcement, Sainz said: “We are not far away from the car launch at Silverstone and I can’t wait to see my new car!”

Ferrari: Released February 19

Whether he intended it or not, Vasseur took the wraps off the much-anticipated Ferrari launch ahead of Lewis Hamilton’s first season with the team.

As in previous years, the media will likely have the opportunity to interview Hamilton and his new team-mate Charles Leclerc in more depth.

It remains to be seen whether Ferrari will use the event to show off their actual 2025 designs or wait until a week later for testing.
