Premier League confirms December Player and Manager of the Month award winners


Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak has been named the Premier League’s Player of the Month for December 2024, with Nottingham Forest boss Nuno Espirito Santo picking up the Manager of the Month award.

Issac won the award for the first time in his career after a brilliant December in which he had eight goals and two assists in just six games, scoring in all six. NewcastleAll month fixtures.

Issac was contested in the vote by Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah, whose return of seven goals and seven assists broke the Premier League record for most goal involvements in a calendar month.

He becomes the fifth separate winner of the award this year, following Erling Haaland, Cole Palmer, Chris Wood and Salah.

Meanwhile, Nuno receives a managerial award after leading Forest at a league-high 15 points throughout December.

Forest enter 2025 in third place in the standings, behind only Liverpool and Arsenal, with five straight wins to bounce back from defeat to Manchester City. Man Utd, Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur all fell to Forest before the calendar closed.

Nuno has been named Manager of the Month for the second time this season and the sixth time in his entire Premier League career.
