The Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Green Bay Packers in the wild-card round of the NFL playoffs, winning 22-10.
The Eagles scored four times in the game but converted just one of them — a Packers fumble on the opening kickoff that set up a touchdown pass to Jalen Hurts three plays later. Gave to Jahan Dotson.
Packers quarterback Jordan Love threw two poor interceptions in the second quarter, and Brandon McManus also threw a fairly simple 38-yard field goal for Green Bay.
Somehow, despite such glaring errors, the Packers only trailed by 10 points at halftime as the Eagles’ rusty offense — save for Saquon Barkley — failed to convert their dominance into points. A bigger advantage on the cards.
Green Bay threatened to tie the game in the second half, but losing multiple offensive weapons to injury, their challenge quickly fizzled and Philadelphia safely clinched a home tie in next weekend’s divisional round.
If the Buccaneers lose at home to the Washington Commanders on Sunday night, their opponent will be either the Tampa Bay Buccaneers or one of the Los Angeles Rams or Minnesota Vikings.
Rams vs. Vikings cap off wild-card weekend on Monday night Sky Sports NFL live broadcast Starting at 1 a.m. Tuesday.

The Packers finally scored their first points on the opening drive of the second half, with McManus successfully hitting the upright from 26 yards out.
Philadelphia struck back immediately to reaffirm their dominance, with Dallas Goedert brutally attacking stiff-armed Green Bay cornerback Carrington Valentine on more than one occasion , but twice on his way into the end zone for a 24-yard touchdown.
Josh Jacobs responded to Goedert’s challenge with a furious run of his own to end the third quarter, and the Packers running back completed a 32-yard catch to tie several An Eagles defenseman knocked down a player, setting up his own goal-line score to start the fourth quarter.
At that stage, it looked like the game might be coming to life, with Green Bay trailing by just six points, but with players like Jaden Reed and Romeo Dubs coming in at halftime — plus the receiving corps Christian Watson has disappeared – the thrilling finale failed to ignite.
The Eagles got away with ease on a pair of Jake Elliott field goals, then Love’s third interception late in the game sealed the game as the Packers’ desperation grew.
