Now, while that was all the Eagles’ offense did in the first half, save for Jake Elliott’s field goal late in the first quarter, Jordan Love and the Packers never found a rhythm.

To add insult to injury, the Packers got their first real drive into Eagles territory, but Brandon McManus missed a 38-yard field goal, his first career fumble in the postseason.

But as the second half began, a 10-0 lead was not enough for the Eagles to say the game was won. The Packers were finally able to get on the field when their opening drive of the first half ended with a field goal, although they were certainly hoping for seven points.

Philadelphia responded quickly, though, with a touchdown drive, but tight end Dallas Goedert angrily caught the ball and ran 24 yards before trying to intercept the gun-wielding Card from the sideline. Carrington Valentine froze him multiple times.

Despite entering the third quarter, the Packers trailed 16-3 and fell into despair as they made no progress offensively. That’s where their main man, Josh Jacobs, answers the call.

On second-and-10 from Philadelphia’s 32-yard line, Jacobs bulldozed multiple Eagles players, threw them to the ground, and then sprinted toward the goal line, appearing to have sprinted in to close the gap. Replay would show him trailing, but the Packers would give him the ball back and let him sprint into the end zone to make it 16-10, with plenty of time to correct his previous mistake.

But as the Eagles have done all season, they responded in the face of adversity, kicking a few field goals and forcing two turnovers, including Love’s third interception of the game, to solidify their win.

From a statistical perspective, Hurts was 13-of-21 for 131 yards and two touchdowns, while Saquon Barkley led the game with 25 carries for 119 yards. Although DeVonta Smith didn’t find the end zone, he was the game’s leading receiver with four catches for 55 yards.

Love went 20-for-33 with three interceptions and 212 yards, while Jacobs rushed 18 times for 81 yards. He lost receivers Jayden Reed and Romeo Doubs to injury in this game, the latter of which had four catches for 46 yards. Packers center Josh Myers was also carted off the field as injuries piled up at the wrong time.
