Aonic invests $10M in gaming rewards company Mega Fortuna

Aonic announced today that it has made a $10 million minority investment in loyalty mobile gaming and discovery platform operator Mega Fortuna, with an option to acquire the entire share capital for $70 million. This comes less than a month after Aonic announced it had received it a $160 million investmentwhich it plans to invest in growth, mergers and acquisitions.

Mega Fortuna’s flagship product is Richie Games, a rewards platform that allows users to earn gift cards in exchange for discovering and participating in various mobile games. Aonic believes the company’s rewards technology will pair well with some of the other companies on its roster — particularly Exmox, the user acquisition and marketing company.

Paul Schempp, CEO of Aonic, said in a statement, “Mega Fortuna is changing how players interact with mobile gaming by seamlessly blending discovery and rewards. In just two years, they have built an incredible platform that engages millions of players worldwide. This investment will not only enhance our portfolio but also fit perfectly with our Aonic group – especially through significant synergies with Exmox, our leader in performance-based user acquisition.

Şeyhmus Ölker, CEO of Mega Fortuna, added, “This milestone is a testament to the incredible talent, dedication, and innovation of the entire Mega Fortuna team… The partnership with Aonic and the partnership with Exmox is not just a opportunity to measure our vision but also a recognition of the incredible effort that brought us here. I could not be prouder of what we have achieved together.”
