Threads add a new feature that allows users to become more creative to remix posts from other people. The app now has a “markup” tool that allows users to write above the posts they want to share again, Adam Mosseri shared in .

Markup abilities appear in the menu for quoting and reposting. But instead of just quoting a post, it launches a edit tool where you can add highlights, arrows or doodles over a screenshot of the post. Mosseri says that part is intended “so you can add your creation” to the posts, but the tools are somewhat limited to the present.
