Investigators say the now-dead gunman shot a man. Nashville, TennesseeA high school student who killed a female student, wounded another student and then turned a gun on himself on Wednesday was exposed to online material on a website that “most people consider harmful and objectionable” serious impact”.
On Wednesday, Metro Nashville police identified 17-year-old Solomon Henderson as the Antioch High School shooter who killed Josselin Corea Escalante, 16, wounded a 17-year-old student who was grazed by a bullet. The latter has now been treated and discharged.
At a news conference Thursday, police said an investigation into a murder-suicide in a school cafeteria determined that Henderson fired 10 shots with a 9 mm handgun within 16 seconds of entering the room.
Investigators found the handgun loaded with nine rounds of ammunition, police said. A magazine containing seven rounds of ammunition was also found on the cafeteria floor.

The investigation found that just before entering the cafeteria, Henderson walked into a nearby restroom where he posted the photo to social media.
The police previously believed Henderson took a bus to school on Wednesday, but they later confirmed his mother drove him to school.

When investigators searched Henderson’s residence, they did not find any other guns or gun parts.
Although no gun was found, detectives later discovered two documents they believe were created by Henderson on the unconventional website – one 51 pages long and the other 288 pages long.

Police said homicide detectives, along with detectives from the Specialized Investigations Unit and the FBI, are closely monitoring documents and other evidence found at the residence.
“It was clear that Henderson was significantly influenced by material online, particularly content found on non-traditional websites that most people would consider harmful and objectionable,” police said.

Additionally, the pistol was reportedly purchased by an individual in Arizona in 2022 and had not been reported stolen.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is helping police determine how Henderson obtained the handgun.
