Adam Azim will face tough former world champion Sergei Lipinets for the first time this year, live on February 1 sky sports.

Undefeated super lightweight Azim, who already holds the European title, has ambitious plans for the rest of 2025, with a clash with Harbin later this year if he beats Lipinets at Wembley Arena. British boxing rivals such as Lem Eubank or Dalton Smith competed.

Both fighters received points deductions, with Eubank suffering a cut to his eye in the seventh round.

Azim’s scheduled fight with Eubank in 2024 ultimately fell through, but he also received a warning.

Azim knocks out O’Hara Davis with huge body, new sideline angle emerges

“He can’t (do it to me like this) because I’m going to beat him in two rounds,” Azim said.

“A lot of people have bad days in the office, but he looked really bad.”

Azim last boxed in October when he defeated O’Hara Davis. He aims to build on his success against Lipinets.

“I’m vicious about the Ohara Davis fight. We have a friendship there, but when we get in the ring, it’s a fight. I’m going to chop his head off, that’s what I’m going to do,” he said .

However, Lipinets will be Azim’s toughest opponent of his career to date. “This is the right step,” he said.

Azim and Davis were full of praise for each other after Azim’s impressive win

“I’m just looking forward to this fight. He’s a great operator. He’s been at the world level, he’s a former IBF world champion and he’s fought Mikey Garcia, ‘The Boot’ (Jalen Ennis, now IBF The same goes for the welterweight champion) who fought among others).
