Agreement between Israel and Hamas "a dream for quacks" as factions will seek to undermine it, the expert says




Israel and Hamas have agreed to a ceasefire deal to end the devastating war in the Gaza Strip, multiple officials said on Wednesday, raising the prospect of an end to the deadliest and most destructive fighting between the bitter enemies. Oliver McTernan, founder of the NGO Forward Thinking, fears it is “almost a pipe dream” with the deal, as rival factions will continue their attempts to derail peace efforts.
