Air attacks in Darfur missed their target. These refugees were hit instead.

The air attacks conducted by the Sudanese army in Darfur are sending refugees fleeing for safety and medical treatment, as they describe that the victims of the bomb are intended to opposing the army.

Ten -year -old Isah Abdallah Fadul was injured last year at an air attack at the Darfur traffic market. Isah and her family are among the latest arrivals from Sudan who seek medical treatment on this doctor without a border clinic in the midst of a violent civil war. Sudanese military and paramilitary fighters for the Sudan’s fast support forces have been involved in the brutal conflict since April 2023. According to the recent UN report, the army conducted air attacks to distract RSF’s progress, resulting in large mortals and exacerbated parts that shipped the plants. The bomb of one of these air attacks hit Isah 10 months ago, shortly after the paramilitary troops infiltrated the market. Her father forbade her injuries, but so far, finding appropriate treatment has been challenging. Doctors without borders have recently increased their mobile clinic services to satisfy the growing demand of refugee arrivals. This number is expected to increase after the Sudanese army took over in March the capital of Khartum. And as the RSF is too thick in its stronghold Darfur, this was a scene just days later when another air attack hit the outdoor market in northern Darfur. The Sudanese army and the RSF were charged with crimes. After a market air strike, the army was charged with non -elective attack on civilian areas. The army replied that everyone states that the attack crime committed against civilians is completely false. In the meantime, the RSF faced frequent accusations of the United States of Genocide for ethnic massacres conducted by its soldiers and Allied militia. Again and again, a pattern appeared in our interviews with survivors. RSF troops would move to the village or city, only to follow it by Sudanese military air attack. At this refugee camp in Adré, in the south of the Sudanese border, another family that has just arrived has shared its story. For the refugees that make it across the border, the first step is to assess and treatment before making decisions about what follows. Return to Tiné, Isaha doctors say her leg is infected and that she will have to move her to a larger hospital in the coming days.
