West Ham United are reportedly in advanced talks with RB Leipzig over the signing of striker Andre Silva sky germany.

The deal being discussed is a loan until the end of the season with an option to buy.

Negotiations are ongoing and considered constructive.

Portugal international Silva has played 53 times for the national team and scored 19 goals for the national team.

Silva started his career at Porto and has previously played for AC Milan, Sevilla and Frankfurt.

Ajax’s Brian Brombie has also attracted interest from West Ham United as they search for a new striker.

Villa reject West Ham’s bid for Duran

Aston Villa have rejected a bid from West Ham United for striker John Dolan.

The bid is understood to be worth £57m, but other sources insist that figure is incorrect. Villa do not want to sell and it is understood they value Duran at more than £70m.

West Ham have a long-standing interest in Duran – he recently extended his contract until 2030 – and new West Ham manager Graham Potter is known to be a big admirer of Duran.

The Hammers tried to sign Duran in the summer but failed to reach Villa’s valuation. Duran has since signed a new contract that will keep him at Villa until 2030. Forward is West Ham’s priority position in this window.

The 21-year-old has scored seven goals in 19 Premier League games this season, with Ollie Watkins being Emery’s first-choice striker.

He moved to Villa Park from Major League Soccer side Chicago Fire in January 2023, but he made just seven starts in 54 league appearances.
