Since Trump took office in January, many liberal protesters have condemned Donald Trump’s presidency in the country’s largest opposition performance.
Protest planners’ “hands-on” protest planners aim to hold rallies at 1,200 locations, including 50 states in the United States. Crowds in Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York and Washington, D.C., etc. were held on Saturday.
Protesters believe Trump’s agenda ranges from social issues to economic issues.
Gatherings outside the United States were also held days after Trump announced that the United States would impose import tariffs on most countries around the world, including London, Paris and Berlin.


In Boston, some protesters say they were motivated by immigrant attacks on U.S. college students that led to arrest and deportation procedures.

“You can stand up today or take it later. I’m not usually a protest girl,” she said.
In London, protesters held signs reading “WTAF America?”, “Stop hurting the people” and “He is an idiot.”

Theresa, a protester in Washington, told the BBC that she was there because “we are losing democratic rights.”
“I’m very worried about their cuts to the federal government,” she said, adding that she was also concerned about retirement and education benefits.
Asked if she thought Trump had received messages from protesters, she said: “Okay, let’s see. (Trump) plays golf every day.”
Trump did not hold public events Saturday and spent a full day of golf at his Florida-owned resort. He plans to play golf again on Sunday.


Trump’s top immigration adviser Tom Homan told Fox News Saturday that protesters held a rally outside their home in New York, but he was in Washington at the time.
“They can protest a vacant house,” Homan said, “their presence is tied together” law enforcement and preventing officials from seeing more important tasks.
“Protests and rallying, that doesn’t mean anything.”
“So, continue to exercise your First Amendment (freedom of speech) rights. This will not change the facts of the case.”
