Myanmar’s ruling military government said the death toll caused nearly 2,900 people after the devastating earthquake last week.

The ruling military government announced that it would not allow foreign journalists to enter the country after the earthquake.
BBC’s Yogita Limaye has become the first foreign journalist to enter the country since the disaster hit and headed to Mandalay.
