The Heat posted a respectable 196/4 after taking the field. Jack Wood (45 off 27) and Tom Alsop (42 off 26) powered the innings, with both showing their ability to clear the ropes. Matt Renshaw scored 40 of his 22 points, while Nathan McSweeney topped the list with 29 points. Max Bryant’s late performance (12 points on 5 shooting) added a crucial run to the score.

For the Renegades, Adam Zampa (4-0-29-2) and Callum Stowe (4-0-31-2) performed well on the ball, providing key breakthroughs and keeping goals within reach.

The Renegades started chasing aggressively and Josh Brown got off to a flying start with 32 off 11 balls. However, Jake Fraser-McGurk stole the show with a stunning 95 which included five fours and eight towering sixes. His knock kept the Renegades in control despite a flurry of wickets at the other end.

The team was helped by low-post contributions from Fergus O’Neill (6 for 16) and Thomas Stewart Rogers (2 for 2) Renegades cross the finish line with 12 balls left.

For Brisbane Heat, Paul Walter (4-0-23-2) was the most economical bowler while Spencer Johnson and Michael Nether took two wickets each but struggled Stifling the Renegades’ offense.
