Belgium appoints former Roma coach Garcia as manager


Belgium has appointed former Roma, Napoli and Marseille coach Rudy Garcia as their new manager.

60 -year -old replaced Domenico Tedesko Last week, who was released last week following a disappointing run of the results, including the last -16 exit and poor Nation League performance at the European Championship last year.

Garcia’s last job was Seri A Side Napoli, but was fired after only 16 games in 2023.

Belgium, ranked eighth in the FIFA World Rankings, faces Ukraine in the Nations League Play-in.

Tedesko was taken in February 2023 with a goal to reboot Red Devils after the disappointing end of the Roberto Martinez era in the Qatar World Cup.
