“I know I’m a nobody, but what if I could get that jersey?” Rosengarten asked Garrett.
Garrett responded kindly.
“Hey, you’re in this league, you’re all winning games, you’re all looking good, you’re never nobody,” Garrett told Rosengarten. “I got you.”
Rosengarten said he appreciated Garrett’s actions.
The two players are opposites in popularity.

Garrett, the No. 1 pick in the 2017 draft, won Defensive Player of the Year last season and is on pace to win the award for the second consecutive time. Rosengarten is the Ravens’ second-round pick in the 2024 draft. He has played in 17 games this season, starting 14 of them.
Rosengarten reportedly spoke about the moment Wednesday Team website.
“It was just me and him walking after Derek’s touchdown run. I was like, ‘He’s right next to me. Why not? There’s no one else around.’ In fact, the whole world saw it,” he said, and Adding that he wishes he could call himself a rookie instead of a “nobody.”
