Colombia again issues arrest warrants for guerrilla leaders amid surge in violence




Colombia on Wednesday renewed arrest warrants for 31 leaders of the National Liberation Army (ELN), in response to attacks that have killed 80 and displaced 32,000. The ELN, a 5,800-member leftist militia involved in the drug trade, has exacerbated the country’s security crisis with violence in remote border regions with Venezuela.
