Colombia, Venezuela triggers a joint surgery in opposition to guerrilla groups




Colombia and Venezuela have triggered a joint surgery to oppose guerrilla groups that fight in the mountainous northeast region of Catatumbo. The violence erupted after the national liberation army (ELN) aimed at rival armed groups and their alleged sympathizers in an attempt to confirm control of the border region, which houses the home plantation that supply most of the world cocaine.
