The wait is finally over! The SA20 2025 third season will kick off on January 9 with defending champions Sunrisers Eastern Cape taking on MI Cape Town at St George’s Park in Gqeberha. Buckle up for a month of non-stop cricket featuring some of T20’s top stars.

SA20 2025 format

guys like Kane Williamson, Rashid Khan, Liam Livingstonand Moeen Ali Ready to light up the game. SA20 2025 has six teams that will play 30 league games, with each team playing the other teams twice. After that, it’s playoff time!

Like the IPL, SA20 2025 will feature Qualifier 1, Knockout and Qualifier 2, with the final taking place on February 8 at the Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg.

The Eastern Cape Sunrisers have already won two titles and are targeting a third title this season. Their first challenge? MI Cape Town in the opener. But it won’t be a walk in the park. The other teams struggled to stop them.

Rashid Khan’s MI Cape Town have not had the best of results so far – finishing at the bottom in both seasons. But they’re back with a new approach and hope to prove a point. However, they will miss England’s Ben Stokes, who is out with a hamstring injury.

SA20 2025 Venue

The tournament will be held at six venues: Durban, Paarl, Gbeha, Johannesburg, Centen and Cape Town. Each team will play at all of these venues, meaning fans across South Africa will have the opportunity to watch live action.

The final is scheduled to take place on February 8 at the Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg. It was the perfect place to end this great game.
