Terrence Crawford Tells Gervonta Davis “Don’t Be Afraid” On ‘X’ Fighting Shakur Stevenson And Keyshawn Davis These two men are close friends of Crawford, so it would make sense that he would try to humiliate Tank Davis into fighting them.
crawford protégé
Keyshawn has no fan base and looked terrible against Miguel Madueno and Nasher Albright. He has no interest in fighting the Cubans Andy CruzHe whipped him four times in amateur competition, causing him total disgrace at the 2020 Olympics. Tanking won’t help Crawford’s gymnastics partner Keyshawn.
Crawford, who tried to attack Gervonta after he insulted him on “X,” said:
“You guys really think he (Crawford) is chasing greatness. He’s not. That’s what he has to do to make decent money.”
Tank Davis talks about Terrance chasing a payday, not greatness against Canelo Alvarez in Saudi Arabia. This is more about Crawford’s pension. If he was truly interested in his legacy, he would move up to 168 and prove himself first instead of begging for a fight.
Crawford has been telling fans that his reason for moving up two weight classes to challenge unified super middleweight champion Canelo is to become great for the “legacy”, but Davis believes it is purely about money.
Bud’s pile
@jevonta Look I have bigger fish to fry. grow some balls and fight @Shakur Stevenson or @KeyshawnDavis8 And stop being afraid. That’s probably why you bump your girl over and spank her, because you’re out of nuts and she knows it. 😂

That’s what Crawford has to do to make money because he can’t sell. Crawford’s last fight against Israil Madrimov reportedly generated between 75,000 and 100,000 buys. These are scary numbers. Crawford has never been a PPV draw like Tank Davis.
Lightweight contender Keyshawn Davis (12-0, 8 KOs) shares the same coach as “Bud” Crawford. They are both trained by Brian ‘BoMac’ McIntyre.
Tanks can’t fight boring Shakur Stevenson (22-0, 10 KOs) because he is not a marketable fighter and is a heavy liability for the promotion. Gervonta will be bringing all PPV buys and Shakur will be there. Shakur is a boring fighter that people don’t want to watch.
I still don’t know why Eddie Hearn signed Shakur and thought he could turn him into a “global star”. This doesn’t happen in America
Maybe Hearn can make Shakur a star in the UK as their level of entertainment seems to be low. That’s why fighters like Tyson Fury, Anthony Joshua, Conor Benn and Chris Eubank Jr. are so popular there. They will never become stars in America
