Terence Crawford posted a photo of himself posing with Turki Al-Sheikh on X, confirming he’s preparing for September fight with Canelo ·Canelo Alvarez’s huge fight seals the deal.

Crawford used a King’s crown emoji Paired with his picture, it’s like he’s being treated as some sort of monarch after getting the fight he’s been begging for. This fight is Crawford’s golden parachute retirement payday. Think of it like Canelo vs. Jermell Charlo 2.0.

Is it too much to ask for Crawford to first test himself at 168 against at least one killer? Turki should add fuel to Crawford’s fire, telling him he has to beat David Benavidez first to get a payday against Canelo. Just let Terrence fight Benavidez and let him prove he deserves to meet King Canelo.

Mayweather Blueprint 2.0

This is a mismatch. I just hope Turki sells it cheap on PPV because it would be a mismatch and probably boring if Crawford follows through. Mayweather Blueprint How he fought Alvarez in 2013. Crawford’s trainer Brian “BoMac” McIntyre has said they will follow Mayweather’s plan to “box, move and tie” Canelo throughout the night. It would be very, very boring to watch. He said Crawford would follow it to the catwalk and it was pure poison to the eyes.

I wouldn’t object if the Canelo vs. Crawford fight was free to watch as part of a normal DAZN subscription, as it’s a circus level fight. Crawford just moved up to 154, looked terrible, and now he’s going to move up two more weight classes with no experience, no testing, no chance to win a title against Canelo. This is a joke.

Turki needs to kindly tell Crawford that if he wants cash for the Canelo fight, he will show some aggressiveness by fighting Morel or Benavidez to show that he should In the presence of the king. Let me tell Crawford. I’ll break it to him.

Last August, Crawford, a former four-division world champion, looked like an ordinary boxer as he moved up from 147 to 154 to challenge WBA champion Israel Madrimov for the title.

The two departments are too far apart

Crawford’s performance was unimpressive and he needed to rally late to earn a unanimous decision victory over Madrimov in 12 rounds. If Madrimov had the sense to know that he needed to keep attacking and not keep talking nonsense, he would have easily lost this fight. In his 40s, Crawford’s performance suggests he has reached the upper limit of his abilities.

If he moves up to 160 to face killer Janibek Alimkhanuly, or to 168 to face Benavidez, the fight will be over. Crawford will be slaughtered because of the size, youth and talent of these fighters.

Fans are divided on whether a fight between 37-year-old Crawford and Canelo will further degrade the sport and turn boxing into a non-sport. Obviously, in real sports, Crawford has to outperform other teams to reach the top level.

There will be a season, playoffs, and then the Finals. We’ve seen Crawford jump over all the fighters who could beat him, such as David Benavidez, David Morel, Diego Pacheco, Christian Mbili and Ousley ·Iglesias. That would make sense if this was an exhibition game, but it’s not.

Crawford is moving up two weight classes to get a well-deserved world title shot against WBA, WBC and WBO super middleweight champion Canelo in September. How could this be allowed to happen?
