Cricket South Africa (CSA)On Monday, the upcoming men’s team lineup was announced ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
Anrich Nortje and Lungi Ngidi return
fast bowling duo Anrich Notje and Good luck After recovering from injuries, they returned to the national team to participate in major events and were highly anticipated. Norje is out with a broken toe, while Ngidi is out for the home season with a groin injury.
The team consists of 15 people, consisting of Tamba Bavumafeaturing 10 players representing South Africa in the 2023 ODI World Cup semi-finals. Newcomer Ryan Rickton, Vianne Mulder and Tony De Zorzi They will be making their debut in an ICC event.
South Africa’s place in the 2025 Champions Trophy
South Africa in Group B will face Afghanistan in Karachi on February 21, followed by Australia in Rawalpindi on February 25 and England on March 1. The top two teams in each group will advance to the semi-finals.

The event, scheduled to be played between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates on February 19, marks the return of the Champions Trophy after an eight-year hiatus. Defending champions Pakistan last lifted the trophy in 2017, beating India in the final at London’s Oval Stadium.
