Croatian populist president Zoran Milanović was re-elected




Croatia’s populist president Zoran Milanović was re-elected in large numbers. He defeated his conservative rival in Sunday’s runoff with more than 74 percent of the vote. It was the highest result achieved by a presidential candidate since the independence of the former Yugoslav republic in 1991.
