Deadly winter storm wreaks havoc across US, at least five dead




A severe winter storm has lashed the eastern US, disrupting travel and leaving more than 175,000 without power. Heavy snow and freezing rain killed at least five and grounded thousands of flights. Despite the storm, Congress met to confirm the election results, coinciding with the one-year anniversary of the Capitol riots.
