Fallon Sherrock failed to secure a PDC Tour card at the Q-School event in Milton Keynes on Friday, missing out on the last 32 stage but she is still in the mix.

The 30-year-old sits in 19th place on the money list heading into the weekend’s half-way stage, with two points to take his lead to 12 points.

However, other big names such as Mervyn King, Simon Whitlock and Beau Greaves will need to perform well over the past two days to have a chance, while Scotland’s former World Cup Champion John Henderson finished third on the money list and almost secured a tour card.

On Friday, Kai Gotthardt and Justin Hood became the latest players to receive PDC Tour cards.

Following an impressive debut at the World Darts Championship last month, emerging Gortat earned his first tour card on the second day of the European Qualifying School finals.

The German sealed his spot on the Pro Tour with a decider victory over compatriot Steven Knost in Kalka on Friday.

Hood, meanwhile, confirmed his status as a Tour card holder for the first time in his career by defeating Bradley Brooks in his final match at British Q-School.

Brooks lost 6-5 to Tom Bissell in Thursday’s final and history repeated itself at MK Arena, with Hood firing 14 darts and ignoring a late fightback from the former world junior champion.

Sherlock lost 6-2 to Daniel Perry in the round of 32 after defeating Keenan Thomas 6-3 and Rhys Perris-Davies 6-1, while Griff Si lost to Tavis Dewdney 6-4 in the first hurdle.

Whitlock also withdrew early after losing 6-4 to Mark McGeeney, and Mervyn King withdrew after losing 6-4 to Jamie Atkins. Round of 32.

On Saturday, action will kick off at 12pm in Milton Keynes, giving players even more chances to win a Tour card.

In addition to the daily Tour Card winners, a further 21 Tour Cards will be awarded on a pro-rata basis to players from their respective final stage Orders of Merit after the fourth day; 12 in Europe and nine in the UK.

Norway’s Cor Dekker topped the European money list with a nine-dart at the 2024 European Tour to reach the quarter-finals 24 hours later after reaching the semi-finals on Thursday.

Dutch pair Jimmy Vandenheede and Mark Quavenhoven are second and fifth respectively on the money list, while Karel Sedlacek and Max Hope have also secured provisional tour card spots.

Brooks looks set to secure a Tour card after reaching back-to-back finals, with the 24-year-old leading the UK finals money list by four points, with Aden Kirk in second.
