President-elect Trump On Thursday, he and former Vice President Mike Pence shook hands at the funeral of former President Jimmy Carter, their first public interaction in four years.

Pence stood up to shake Trump’s hand as Trump entered the room washington d.c. Funeral services were held at the National Cathedral. After the two greeted each other and appeared to exchange a few words, Pence shook hands with former first lady Melania Trump.
