General Motors plans to promote the production of light trucks in the United States, as the industry addresses challenges related to the President Donald Trump’s Last round of automatic rates.

The main car maker is adding hundreds of temporary workers to maximize the production of light trucks to its Fort Wayne assembly plant, Indiana, said the company in Fox Business.

“We constantly update and review production schedules as part of our standard evaluation and alignment process to manage vehicle inventory,” General Motors said in a statement, adding that his operating adjustments in Fort Wayne “will support current manufacturing and business needs.”
