The airship image change serves as a visual representation of the Goodyear Blimp’s history and “It evokes a sense of nostalgia and emotion,” said Laura Duda, head of communications by Goodyear, in a statement.

“Back to the look of Goodyear’s first brand is a suitable tribute as we mark our centenary,” said Duda.
To commemorate the milestone, the company will also fly to more than 100 cities and events throughout North America and Europe to bring its famous aircraft to its fans, according to Roberts.
Goodyear recognizes June 3 as the official date of the centenary of the blim.
