Xbox hosts it Direct to the Developer showcase today, and you can watch live on YouTube, Twitch or our handy embed below.

The stream starts as 1PM ET / 10AM PT and should have updates from the developers of South of midnight, Chiaroscuro: Expedition 33 and Destruction: The Dark Ages. Xbox also promises to “visit a surprise location to see the studio’s new game.” Windows Central reports the mysterious unannounced game is “a new entry in a legendary Japanese IP with decades of history,” which is sure to be intriguing. At the very least, the rest of the featured games are set to launch in 2025.

Xbox spent most of 2024 adjusting its strategy around game releases, delaying some titles until this year, and brings back some previously exclusive games on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch. The company seems to favor set exclusives over keeping everything for Xbox and PC, so the job of this Developer Direct is a bit different today. Aside from allowing developers to sell their games, the real test of performance is whether it gets you excited about games coming to Xbox first, rather than just coming to Xbox.
