Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti says he “will not decide when I will leave this club” after recent speculation that he will leave at the end of the season.

Ancelotti, 65, won two La Liga titles and three Champions League trophies with Real in two spells with the Spanish giants and is under contract until 2026.

But speaking ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League tie with RB Salzburg, Ancelotti said: “I Want to be very clear: I will never decide when I will leave this club, never in my life.

“One day that moment will come, but I don’t know when it will come. I don’t decide. It could be tomorrowIn a few games, one year, five years…

“(President) Florentino Perez will continue here for four more years and my goal is to reach four years of Florentino.. And so we can say goodbye together.

“I feel a lot of love in all aspects: the fans, the club, the media level. Everything.”

Holders Real are struggling in the new Champions League format and are in 20th place with two matches remaining. Only the top eight qualify directly, meaning Real are likely to face a two-legged play-off round next month.

“There are not many options, but the only one is to win the remaining two matches,” added Ancelotti.

“If we have to play the round of 32, we will do it 100%. Considering the schedule will be more demanding, but we are used to it.
