The trio of top all-rounders Hardik Pandya, Washington Sundar and vice-captain Axar Patel will provide the much-needed balance to the team . Notably, pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah was rested during the T20I series along with Mohammed Siraj.
Meanwhile, the series against Jos Buttler-led side will be India’s first T20I since November 2024 when they defeated the Proteas in South Africa. The Men in Blue performed brilliantly in the four-match T20I series against the South African national cricket team as the team won 3-1.
The Suryakumar Yadav-led team started the series with a 61-run victory and ended their tour with a dominant 135-run victory. They will look to put in a similar performance against England and keep their incredible T20I record intact.
