
UN Syrian envoys slammed Israel’s “repeated” military attacks in Syria, warning of violations of international law.
Syria accused Israel of trying to destabilize the country after being hit by a double blow to the air base and a deadly ground invasion, marking an intensification of Israeli military activity in the country.
Syrian State News Agency Sanaa said Israel killed nine people in the southern Syrian province of DERAA on Wednesday and described the ground invasion Israeli soldiers The region is the deepest since the collapse of former President Bashar al-Assad.

The Syrian Human Rights Observatory (SOHR) said Israeli aircraft carried out two attacks on military targets near Damascus.

Since the rebels took control of the country, Israel has carried out extensive bombing campaigns against Syrian military targets.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu demanded that southern Syria be completely non-military in February and said his government would not accept the existence of new government forces near Israeli territory.
In December, Netanyahu ordered troops to enter an uningested buffer that separates Israeli and Syrian forces along the occupied Golan Heights in 1974.
