Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin rocket takes off

Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin has successfully launched a rocket into orbit for the first time.

The reusable rocket New Glenn was originally scheduled to launch earlier this week, but was delayed due to “vehicle subsystem issues.”

The mission was a partial success because the booster that propelled the rocket into space failed to land on the ocean platform.

However, it’s still a big step forward for Jeff Bezos and company, who have spent years getting the rocket into orbit.
