A US mother has had her charges thrown out by a judge after she murdered her two children in Colorado and “fleeed” to London.

Kimberlee Singler’s 9-year-old daughter Elianna and 7-year-old son Aden were found dead in Colorado Springs on December 19, 2023.

Smith said Ms. Singler blamed the attack on her husband, but he was later discovered driving a “GPS-tracked truck” in Denver, providing what prosecutors called a “complete and verifiable alibi.” “.

Mr Smith said that in the following days the third child was moved to foster care and on Christmas Day she told the foster carer that Ms Singler was responsible for the attack and asked her to lie to police.

Prosecutors said the girl was interviewed by police on December 26, during which she described the attack after the defendant took all three children into the bedroom.

Following a police investigation, a warrant was issued for Ms. Singler’s arrest by the Fourth District Court in El Paso County, Colorado.

Smith said Ms Singler was arrested on December 30 in the Chelsea area of ​​west London.

London courts are not responsible for conducting criminal trials. However, at the same hearing in September, Ms Singler’s defense lawyer Edward Fitzgerald told the court she “denied any responsibility for the deaths of her two young children and the death of her third Responsible for the child’s attempted murder.”
