Tait is known for lightning delivery and blazing spells, and Tait will now shift the focus to fresh speed bowlers in the Kings. He joined a remodeled coaching team led by newly appointed head coach Ravi Bopara, a former England all-rounder who replaced Phil Simmons after just one season in charge.
After a poor performance in the recent version, the King’s management is clearly boldly changing his destiny. In addition to Tait’s appointment, Muhammad Masroor served as the high-performance coach for the franchise, adding responsibilities to further strengthen the team’s technical backbone.

The movement of King Karachi in PSL 2025

Tait and Bopara arrived in Pakistan earlier this week to finalize the team’s preparations. Their presence marks an important stage in the Kings’ preseason plan, with a focus on strengthening the rhythm battery – an area of inconsistent existence in the region over the past few seasons.

This season also saw a structural balance of the venue distribution: 13 games, including the knockout and the finals, will be held at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, while the rest will be distributed between Rawalpindi and Karachi. The Kings have several games at home and will seek to take advantage of familiar conditions.
With an experienced leadership duo in Warner and Warner and Tait’s quick bowling insights, Karachi Kings is following a strong comeback in PSL 2025. The franchise crowned in 2020 hopes to replicate success with new energy and strategic focus on pace and strength.
