In 2016, he moved to Capital City and his earnings increased significantly to Rs 4 crore per season. Nair was part of Kings XI Punjab from 2018 to 2020 and earned Rs 560 crore every year. In 2021, he joined KKR for Rs 50 lakh and then returned to Royals in 2022 for Rs 140 crore. His contract with Delhi Capitals for 2025 is worth Rs 50 lakh with a basic salary of Rs 30 lakh. In his IPL career, Nair has accumulated a total of Rs 28.86 crore.
