Line-ups confirmed as Chelsea look to move into fourth place

Chelsea will have gone five Premier League games without a win but can move up to fourth in the table with a win over strugglers Wolves on Monday night.

Captain Reece James is fit enough to start while Cole Palmer retains his place after a fitness concern last weekend.

Wolves can close the gap on Everton with three vital points on the road – and they won this match 4-2 last season.

Here’s how the teams line up.

Chelsea team news

James has been limited to just six appearances all season but has returned to Enzo Maresca’s side.

There is also Trevoh Chalobah who has been recalled early from a loan spell with Crystal Palace, while Kiernan arrives for his first league start for the Dewsbury-Hall club.

Chelsea XI: Robert Sanchez, Mark Cucurella, Trevoh Chalobah, Tosin Adarabio, Reece James, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Moises Caesdo, Pedro Neto, Cole Palmer, Noni Maduke, Nicholas Jackson

Wolves team news

Mathews Cunha scored a hat-trick in this fixture last season but was on the bench in last week’s defeat at Newcastle following suspension.

He returns, as Nelson Semedo starts at wing-back and Pablo Sarabia also comes into attack.

Wolves have not kept a clean sheet in London since February 2022 – a run of 22 games. Is it tonight?

Wolves XI: Jose Sa, Emmanuel Agbadou, Santiago Bueno, Matt Doherty, Ryan At-Nouri, Joao Gomes, Andre, Nelson Semedo, Matthews Cunha, Pablo Sarabia, Jorgen Strand Larsen
