Bryson DeChambeau insists that his reduced LIV golf league schedule has not hindered his hopes of challenging victory in the Masters.

Dechambeau took a portion of the lead midway ahead before falling sixth place last season, and the Americans hope to build on that performance and challenge in their second-biggest major for many years.
“I’m so happy to be there, have fun, compete and be at the top of the rankings,” DeChambeau explained. “No matter what competition you compete, especially in a professional competition, you always feel nervous.
“Yes, am I feeling stressed? Yes. Am I doing everything for Liv? Of course, that’s what I can say. For me, I’m just trying to win the golf tournament, and if that’s done well with Liv, that’s great.

“But for me, you’re still just trying to win the golf tournament and everything that comes with it is great.”
Dechambeau was criticized in 2020 when he mentioned Augusta National (for him) as a par 67 course because he was able to hit all par with two shots, which was called “error” in last year’s race.
