Indian national cricket team fast bowler Mohammad Siraj has denied romance rumors with Zanai Bhosle, granddaughter of famous singer Asha Bhosle, after their adorable pictures went viral on social media.

The dating rumors started after Zanai shared a series of photos from her 23rd birthday celebrations on her Instagram account. In these pictures, several celebrities including Jackie Shroff, Abhay Verma, cricketer Suyash Prabhudessai, Siddhesh Lad, Shreyas Iyer and Mohammed Siraj were spotted posing with the birthday boy.

But it was one photo that drew the most attention from fans. In this photo, Mohamed Siraj and Zanai enjoy a relaxing moment together, sparking discussion about their relationship online. As the two looked at each other and smiled broadly, many fans quickly speculated that the two might be dating.

There were even hints that Siraj and Zanai were planning to get married. Both Mohammad Siraj and Zanai Bhosler immediately responded to the dating rumors as social media was flooded with rumors. Siraj quickly took to social media to clarify the situation, calling Zanai his “sister” in the post. Zanai also came out to clarify, saying the same thing when he shared their viral photo on Instagram Stories.

To put an end to any speculation about their relationship, Zanai captioned the photo: “Mere pyaare bhai (my dear brother).” Siraj retweeted the message on his Instagram Story, writing: ” There is no sister like my sister. I don’t want to live anywhere without her. Like the moon among the stars, my sister is among the thousands.” Zanai then retweeted it with a red heart emoji. Got it.

Talking about Zanai Bhosle, she is all set to make her Bollywood debut in the upcoming film ‘Pride of Bharat – Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’. She will play the role of Rani Sai Bonsal, the wife of the legendary warrior king Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in the film directed by Sandeep Singh. In addition to her acting skills, Zanai is also a talented singer and dancer. Bhosle’s debut single ‘Kehndi Hai’ is scheduled to be released on January 27.

Siraj, on the other hand, is all set to feature in the upcoming 2024-25 Ranji Trophy in Hyderabad as he has not been selected for the upcoming three-match ODI series against England at home, as well as the upcoming 2025 ICC Champions Trophy Contest. However, Jasprit Bumrah’s back problem could open the door for Siraj to play for India in the Champions Trophy for the last time.
