Gujarat Titans (GT) pacemaker Mohammed Siraj is facing his former team, Royal Challenger Bengaluru (RCB) in the 2025 IPL. Siraj won the game prize on his old family field, and Minnaswamy Stadium won the game prize at Bengalurululu in Diffland Jersey.

The 31-year-old is a key part of the Royal Challenger Bengaluru from 2018 to 2024. However, he did not keep him before the IPL 2025 auction. Siraj played 87 games in his 7 years, and averaged 83 wickets at a rate of 31.44. He was acquired by Titans for Rs 1225 crore at a large auction.

Mohammed Siraj took three key wickets – Devdutt Padikkal, Phil Salt and Liam Livingstone. The fire of salt caught people’s attention. The British batsman just hit him with a 105 million hit until Siraj hit immediately, stunning his striptease. The pacemaker ends with a 3/19 number of four bases.

Chasing 170, GT lost Shubman Gill early, but Jos Buttler and B Sai Sudharsan stabilized the inning. Their 75-strike stance ended when Josh Hazlewood fired Sudharsan with 49 and 49. But Buttler reached 50 in just 31 goals and remained unbeaten in 73 as GT won 13 goals.

Mohammed Siraj admitted that after spending 7 years with the RCB, he was very excited about his return to the Chinnaswamy Stadium to M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. He shared that the transition from red to blue brought all kinds of nerves and emotions, but once he got the ball in his hand, he was completely focused on his game.

“I’m a little excited. I’ve been here for 7 years, from red to blue. There’s some tension and emotion, but the moment I got the ball in my hand, it was all-round,” Siraj said after winning the game award.

When asked about his celebration, Siraj revealed that he was a fan of Cristiano Ronaldo, which is why he imitated the football star’s signature style.

Siraj simply said: “I am a Ronaldo fan, so it’s a celebration.”

Mohammed Siraj took advantage of his chances of being out of the championship trophy lineup to correct his mistakes and improve his overall game. He also benefited from coach Ashish Nehra and senior Pacers Ishant Sharma.

“I’ve been playing the usual game, but during the break, I corrected my mistakes and worked hard,” Siraj said.

He added: “Once I was answered by Gujarat Titans, I talked to Ashish Bhai. He (Neil) told me to go and enjoy the bowling, and Ishit bhai bhai told me the lines and length of the bowl. My mindset is to have confidence and then pitching doesn’t matter.”
