The 43-year-old Chennai Super Kings (CSK) legendary goalkeeper MS Dhoni was ruthlessly hit by fans after being terrible defeat in the 2025 Indian Premier League 2025 match against the Delhi Capitals (DC).

MS Dhoni’s Retirement Speculation
Dhoni represented the Chennai Super Kings of the first match and only switched teams in 2016 and 2017 when the team was banned from playing.
His retirement has been speculated over the past few years, but Doni continues to play, the stadium is packed and seeing the legendary goalkeeper hit about six points.
Dhoni’s retirement speculation peaked in the match between CSK and DC, as Dhoni’s parents were found in the stands.
It is worth noting that Doni’s parents are usually away from the focus of attention and rarely participate in their son’s competitions. Even the Hindi commentators were surprised to see the sitting in the stands, some of whom said it was the first time they saw Dhoni’s parents in the stands.
Soon, the former cricketer, experts also began to speculate that at this stadium, Dhoni’s mother and father appeared with his wife Sakshi and daughter, implying that his retirement was just around the corner. However, this did not happen because MS Dhoni made no announcements.

Recently, CSK Pacer Matheesha Pathirana said that Dhoni is like his father.
“Dhoni is like my dad because of the support and guidance I had at CSK and the guidance he gave me,” Pathirana said. “It’s very similar to what my dad did in my family. That’s why I think Dhoni, the father of cricket.”
