National Football League Southern California will continue to fight the raging wildfires as it announced that it will donate $5 million to wildfire relief efforts.
“Led by individual donations from clubs and ownership groups including the Los Angeles Chargers, Los Angeles Rams, Minnesota Vikings, Houston Texans and the NFL Foundation, these funds will support local communities impacted by wildfires The organization provides important resources.” The NFL said in a statement on Friday.
“We are heartbroken by the devastating loss suffered by so many in the Los Angeles area and inspired by the heroism of first responders and residents supporting their neighbors,” NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said.
