Siraj rebounded strongly after a disappointing start to IPL 2025, with him without a 54 runs in the opener. The fast bowler on the right arm took five wickets in the next two games before facing Hyderabad.
He only got three drags in the match against his former team, Royal Challenger Bengaluru. Siraj proves his worth as a reliable new ball bowler.
Mohammed Siraj Rattles SRH’s highest order, unloading Abhishek earlier
Mohammed Siraj removed Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma during the Power Game, removing the Supreme Order in Hyderabad. Later, he returned in the final, demanding two other scalps, including the dangerous Aniket Verma. Siraj ended with four wickets as SRH had only 152/8 in 20 games.
Nitish Reddy (31), Heinrich Klaasen (27) and Pat Cummins (22*) contributed, but SRH failed to publish a competitive total. Other key hitters, including Ishan Kishan (17), cannot make much impact. Prasidh Krishna and Sai Kishore both cut in with two wickets to limit the home team.
Captain Shubman Gill knocks on the door with an unbeaten 61
In the chase, Gujarat Titans starts shaky as Sai Sudharsan (5) (5) and Jos Buttler (0) get cheaply fired. However, the momentum shifted their support between Shubman Gill and Washington Sundar. Sundar won 49 hits in 29 balls, hitting five boundaries and two sixes.
Gill anchored 43 deliveries with an unbeaten 61, including nine quarters. Sherfane Rutherford only passed 16 balls, including 6 quarters and 6 balls, adding 35 last touches.
The Titans chased the 153 goal in just 16.4 games and won the game with seven wickets. Mohammed Shami took two wickets and Pat Cummins took one.
