Manchester United suffered another home defeat on Sunday as Brighton & Hove Albion ran out 3-1 winners at Old Trafford.
A long ball over the top opened the scoring for Brighton in the first five minutes. Carlos Baleba sent Kaoru Mitoma past the arrow and a simple square pass to Yankuba Minteh led to a comfortable tap-in.
Bruno Fernandes tied things from the penalty spot in the first half, but Brighton It was back on the hour mark when Mitoma tapped home at the back post before Andre Onana’s second big mistake clinched Georginio Rutter’s easiest goal of his career midway through the second half.
