Passengers evacuate plane on snowy tarmac during storm

Delta Air Lines said a flight from Atlanta, Georgia, to Minneapolis, Minnesota, was grounded shortly after takeoff due to “signs of engine problems.”

Passengers were forced to evacuate a plane on a snow-covered tarmac during a winter storm.

At least four passengers reported minor injuries, one of whom was taken to hospital. The Federal Aviation Administration said it would investigate the case. More than 2,600 flights nationwide were suspended Friday because of the storm.
