Pep Guardiola has urged his Manchester City squad to change the way they use striker Erling Haaland as they look to end their poor run of form.
City have won just one of their last 12 games in all competitions and dropped to seventh in the Premier League standings, with Haaland also enduring his own difficult spell in front of goal.
The Norwegian has netted just three times in his last 12 Premier League games, having scored ten in his previous five outings, and Guardiola admits City need to adapt their approach to scoring goals.
“It’s about us, it’s not just about playing one,” Guardiola said. “When Erling was so prolific, it was about us, the team. But when you have problems at the back and in the middle, it’s about the team. Not just one player. It would be easy to see if it was just one player. Because he not about

Guardiola admitted he is still looking for a solution citybut credited his players for working tirelessly to pull the team out of their current slump.
“This situation is new for all of us,” he continued. “It’s about us, everybody. The guys are running and trying harder than ever.
“People say we don’t run, we don’t fight, it’s this player, this manager – it’s not about that. It’s about a lot of small details or some big details that make us not as good as we are. But we have on boxing. Another chance day.
“We’ve got players coming back and at some point we’ll get better.”
