A artist fled Burma after the coup in 2021 and used art to make the world pay attention to the dilemma of his country.

When Myanmar’s just democratic system was destroyed, Sai’s life changed dramatically, and his father was also imprisoned. Sai and his wife K hid. As Myanmar disappears from international headlines, they know that they must take action and create a series of unique artworks.

With this work, they fled to Europe and shouldered the mission of using it as a radical form. They are plagued by Myanmar’s abuse, visa issues, and risks facing their hometown. Sai became more and more worried, questioning his mission and whether he could bring meaningful changes.
