Protesters undermine conservative student activities


A group of conservative students were beaten and destroyed the equipment on Thursday University of California campus.

Turning Point USA, which registered student organization UC Davis, is hosting a “Prove Me Wrong” event with speaker Brandon Tatum, when protesters destroyed camera gear, tents, event signage, flip tables and beating team members, Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk wrote on X.

“When our people were attacked, the police stood aside and did nothing,” he wrote. “It is understandably so that our team was shocked, but they assured me that they would not back down.”

The University said in a statement to Fox News Numbers that protesters undermined the incident in the Memorial Alliance’s Quad by confronting members of student organizations and others.

“The UC Davis Police Department issued a report on the attack,” the school said. “No one asked for medical assistance. The event with the guest spokesperson was held as planned and no further events were completed. The university protected the right to freedom of speech in the campus community throughout the event.”

Tatum was invited by the student group police officer A hour before the competition began, speaking on campus at 1 p.m., with about 30 people approaching supporters of the event.

The school said a protester attacked a man with his cell phone close to the table. Other protesters pulled down the tent and pushed with those equipped with tents and those nearby staffed. Protesters left the area before returning a few minutes later and tried to remove the tent.

No one was arrested.

The chaotic video release online shows protesters holding a large banner with “ACAB,” an acronym for “All police officers are assholes”, as they approach the activity area.

Kirk criticized the university, calling it “the most radical school in the country, the largest Antifa existence.”

“When I was speaking there in March 2023 Antifa Infantry “Break schools, smash windows and fight police. What we have is a model, there is no sign of improvement,” he said.

Elon Musk responded to the news of the incident, writing on X: “The Left is the Party of Violence and Hate.”

Video released by Tatum Online shows him defending himself when protesters appear to have destroyed TPUSA tents and tables.

“This is what most peace looks like,” he wrote.

Kirk calls arrest Among the people involved, those who do not do so will lead to “radical anarchists” resorting to “increasing violence, and if they do so, they will stop the conservatives from speaking.”

He urged UC Davis to show that it is willing to protect freedom of speech and freedom of assembly on public campuses.

“If they don’t, then the Trump administration should investigate them to continue receiving money from federal taxpayers,” he said.
