St. Andrews will host the 155th Open Championship in 2027, returning to the home of golf.

The Old Course at St. Andrews first hosted the Open Championship in 1873, when the 13th championship was played on the 18-hole course for the first time and was won by Tom Kidd. It has since hosted 30 tournaments, most recently in 2022.
